Adaptive Technologies for the Blind

Accessibility dictionary means that all people with disabilities, the elderly, and all individuals can benefit from any product, service, and situation equally. Accessibility is also a requirement for everyone to be able to meet their personal needs, socialize freely, and participate in life. In this era of digital transformation in which we live, it has become a necessity that technology is also accessible.

When the technology is personalized by its target audience, individuals with disabilities can adapt to the technology not through a standard system, but through their own disability. Web and technology access means that people with disabilities can socialize freely and meet their needs without depending on someone.

What are the adaptive and accessible technologies?

Of course, many applications have been developed for disabled people to use the technology freely in the world where 15% of the population has any disability status. Screen reader systems have been built so that blind or visually impaired people can freely browse the Internet, and thanks to this, the technology has become accessible for them. With this software, the active user base of the technology has included the blind and visually impaired, who are the vast majority. The mobile phone developed for the physically disabled has been able to detect eye movements and become available for them. These and other technologies make life equal, barrier-free, and accessible. It ensures that everyone can freely participate in technology and therefore in life.

Technology is great freedom, especially if it is accessible for everyone!

As BlindLook, we believe in this and work to ensure that individuals with visual disabilities can exist freely in life. We can concrete our dream of an accessible world for the blind and visually impaired, visually impaired and accessible world thanks to technology, software, and audio simulations.
