As BlindLook, we left behind the EyeBrand Ceremony 2022, where we presented their awards to the brands that joined us in 2022 and became EyeBrands, on this path that we have progressed by targeting accessibility and inclusivity.
With the Audio Simulation technology we have developed, we have made the products and services of more than 40 brands accessible to more than 300 thousand visually impaired people, and we celebrated this accessible world we created together with our EyeBrands and all our stakeholders at the EyeBrand Ceremony night.
Who do we call EyeBrand and EyeHero?
We call all brands EyeBrand that are part of the world of voice freedom we have developed and make their products and services accessible to the visually impaired. We call the special people who have inspired us with their experiences and successes since our establishment and enlightened our path, EyeHero. With our ever-increasing EyeBrands and EyeHeros, we are building together the free world we dream of for the visually impaired.
EyeBrand Ceremony 2022
Again this year, we organized a ceremony with our EyeBrands at Zorlu Psm Sky Lounge, dedicated to the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, on 3 December, and celebrated the accessibility of our 43 brands. We were pleased to give them all accessibility prizes. Among those who joined us on this memorable night was our presenter Merve Toy. After our presenter's opening remarks, our founders Sadriye Görece and Cihat Ersin Aydın joined the stage to speak. Visually Impaired artist Merve Yılmaz gave a mini concert for our EyeBrands.
"Feeling Other" Stories from EyeHeroes
At our ceremony night, where we celebrated the world of freedom we built for hundreds of thousands of visually impaired people who are perceived as the other by society, our six EyeHeroes, who provided as our inspiration in 2022, were there. Our EyeHeroes Sunay Akın, Itır Erhart, Cüneyt Devrim, İhsan Elgin, Emre Başkan and Orkun Işıtmak shared their stories of being the other with us.
