October 15 is the White Cane Day, the symbol of accessibility for the blind and visually impaired. This day, which is the symbol of freedom for the blind and visually impaired is celebrated as a festival. As BlindLook, we were proud to support this festival, which was held for the 8th time this year. The festival hosted great attendees and speakers.

Arda Türkmen, one of Turkey's best chefs, enlivened the festival with his talk called "A Warm Journey from Accessible Sports to Health, Art to Food and Nutrition". Arda Chef, who also held meetings with the blind and visually impaired , added joy to the festival with his unending energy.

Eşref Armağan also was with us at the festival. He adds color to life with the paint on his brush. As well as he added color to the festival like this way. The world-famous blind painter captivated everyone at the festival by holding a ’Painting Experience Workshop with Blind Painters".

Selim Altınok and Kerim Altınok were the other names who added color to the festival with their beautiful voices. They became the voice of freedom with their multi-voice choir workshop.

October 15 is a day that is a symbol of freedom and visibility for the visually impaired. That’s why its definitely a day worth celebrating. October 15 white cane day, as every year, was very enjoyable this year. Thank you very much to everyone who participated in this wonderful festival!
