What is Inclusive Brand?

In our article, we will be looking for answers to questions like what is an inclusive brand? What should be done to be an inclusive brand? What makes a brand not inclusive?

While we include the concept of accessibility, you will be able to read in our article where brands get support in the journey of inclusivity.

Brands continuously renew themselves to be a step ahead of each other.

As time goes on, they renew themselves and they try to increase the margin of difference between each other as well by using the technology. In this process, they also get inclusivity into the foreground, but because the adopted inclusivity is standard, most brands do not even think about accessibility.

As a result, the brand which doesn’t include the concept of accessibility in its adoption of inclusivity doesn’t include blind and visually impaired people while developing a product.

What is an inclusive brand? What makes an inclusive brand?

An inclusive brand, while developing its products in accordance with its own values, should work by evaluating every possibility in the audience it will reach.

When a brand wishing to be an inclusive brand develops a website or a product, it should never ignore the possibility of a user being blind or visually impaired, or he/she might have other disabilities.

Because if the disabled people cannot use the developed product or website, that brand cannot become an inclusive brand.

We had stated in our previous articles about the fact that disabled people experience challenges in many fields due to brands being not inclusive.

The fact that accessibility is being postponed in many cases like the technological innovations in banks, the food/beverage sector adapting to digital systems, etc. shows clearly that brands are not completely inclusive.

Despite blind or visually impaired people trying to include accessibility into inclusion by giving feedback, personal efforts yield no results.

In this situation, BlindLook, which has adopted including accessibility into inclusivity steps in, and by resolving the accessibility problem between the user and the brand as necessary, it increases inclusivity.

What should the user do in this process?

When a user directly contacts a brand and if he/she cannot resolve the problem, as we talked about it before, he/she can contact with BlindLook, which creates a bridge between the brand and the user to make efforts to include accessibility into inclusivity.
